‘A nerve-wracking chiller’

Billy Chainsaw, Bizarre

From the producer of Pan’s Labyrinth and The Orphanage comes Shiver, the latest chilling horror from Spain. Written and directed by Isidro Ortiz (Fausto 5.0) and starring Julio Valverde (The Devil’s Backbone), this nerve-jangling chiller premiere’s on DVD.

Santi (Valverde) is a teenage outcast who suffers from photophobia.  When he and his mother move to a remote village to escape the sunlight strange things start happening; animals and then people are found brutally murdered and suspicion soon falls on the newcomer. But in the darkness of the forest something is hiding. And now it’s coming for Santi…

From Frank Darabont, acclaimed director of The Shawshank Redemption, The Mist and The Green Mile, comes the terrifyingly claustrophobic Buried Alive.

Starring Tim Matheson (Animal House) as a husband who is buried alive by his cheating wife Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Machinist), this nail biting horror comes to DVD for the first time ever.

From the director of The Exorcist

Following The Exorcist, Oscar-winning director William Friedkin returned with another classic tale of supernatural horror in The Guardian.

Starring Jenny Seagrove and complete with man-eating trees and chainsaw carnage, The Guardian is a supernatural freakfest and comes to UK DVD for the first time ever, complete with some excellent bonus features.
