It’s official! Skullgirls is pummeling its way onto Playstation 3 in Europe on Wednesday 2nd May!
With Skullgirls now available for gamers in the Americas, Europe and Australia/New Zealand, Autumn Games is giving players worldwide the opportunity to enjoy its diverse, eclectic soundtrack while they’re away from their consoles.
The Skullgirls Original Soundtrack features music by distinguished game composer Michiru Yamane (Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Suikoden III and IV), and marks the first time a Japanese composer has anchored the soundtrack for a U.S.-developed game. Yamane is joined by Reverge Labs’ audio director, award-winning game composer Vincent Diamante (Flower), as well as composers Blaine McGurty (Retro Remix Review) and Brenton Kossak. The complete soundtrack features 28 tracks and is now available for download on iTunes for £7.99, and will be available on many other digital music stores in the coming days.

Skullgirls puts players in control of eight female warriors in an extraordinary “Dark Deco” world, where they battle for control of a mysterious artifact known as the Skull Heart. Legend says it has the power to grant a woman’s wish, but those judged impure will have their wish twisted and be transformed into the new Skullgirl! The Skullgirls team is led by renowned fighting game champion Mike “Mike Z” Zaimont and artist Alex “o_8” Ahad, whose work has been featured in many publications, including Lava Punch and Girls of Gaming.
