What if everything existed as long as people believed in it? Â This is exactly what The Apparition tries to recreate in this horror flick that seems to bring the supernatural to life… literally. Â It looks pretty much like every horror film that ever scared or gave a few chills rolled into one and as far as I saw in the trailer, it looks pretty much awesome! Â Although, I’m not quite keen on the fact that it already gave me a feeling it stole a few ideas from Fallen I’ll give it a go. Â All those things aside, at least we’ll be able to see Ashley Greene‘s ass in some skimpy clothing again… That must count for something, right?
Synopsis: Â “When frightening events start to occur in their home, young couple Kelly (Ashley Greene) and Ben (Sebastian Stan) discover they are being haunted by a presence that was accidentally conjured during a university parapsychology experiment. The horrifying apparition feeds on their fear and torments them no matter where they try to run. Their last hope is an expert in the supernatural (Tom Felton), but even with his help they may already be too late to save themselves from this terrifying force… “
The US Release date for The Apparition is set for 24 August 2012. Â So far there’s no word when it’ll be available in the UK though… sorry guys.
