Do you like it dark? I mean, really dark? Well, when it comes to Haunted: After Dark #1, you can expect some of the darkest things ever to make it into a magazine. Yes folks, with foetus-eating and Se7en‘s “Lust” rape-scene photoshoots as some of the taboo topics that cover these pages, you have to love it dark to enjoy the art. Now, don’t worry, it’s not real, it’s props and stuff, but this is the type of magazine that would scare Fangoria! So, the question is whether or not you like it dark and how dark is too dark?
Featuring some of the most prolific people on the horror scene, such as the Soska Twins (American Mary, Dead Hooker in a Trunk), Katie Sin, Jack Ketchum and Bruno Knight. Giving some homage to The Grudge in a magnificent photoshoot that fills the pages with awesome dark pictures and of course, we have some sexy vampire lesbians to look at too. Blood and gore never looked this good and I tell you, with many pages of full coloured images and some neat things to read, it’s freaking affordable. There’s more though, Amanda Norman, a photographer that has been making some headlines also contributed to this issue! Satanic Sluts, The Vamp Girls, Alice Bizarre, Gypsy Rhodes and countless other talented folks get their own place on these pages, making for a horror-filled, fun and gory digital magazine, which will give the competition a proper run for their money.
As for the shameless self promotion, one of my flash fiction pieces made it into the magazine too! That’s right, Deadly Delight is a flash fiction horror that’s all cultish and whatnot… it’s kind of naughty, so read it at home.
