Sometimes I accidentally stumble onto things and then I simply need to share it with you guys. Lewis Carroll, one of the most famous poets of all time, gets an adaptation of his The Hunting of the Snark in stop-motion animation that looks brilliant. Directed by Saranne Bensusan, The Hunting of the Snark has something special to it that would definitely put it into the “favourite films” category for mainstream audiences, however as far as I have been able to find out, I think the film has come to a standstill due to funding.
Synopsis: “The Hunting of the Snark is an animated feature film about a group of strange individuals that embark on a voyage with the aim of capturing “The Snark,” regardless of the fact that none of them even know what it is, or how to catch it!”
