With Halloween nearing, all the horror lovers are starting to come out of their shells and slowly, but surely all the cinemas are getting ready to unleash the gory wonders that old cinema achieved. TCM and NCM Fathom is not sitting back and allowing modern franchises to get all the glory though, with quite a few gems in their possession, it seems like they’re going to make a killing with what they have to offer audiences this season.

Commemorating Universal Pictures’ 100th anniversary, NCM Fathom Events and Turner Classic Movies are bringing back four newly restored titles to select movie theaters nationwide.
Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds” – Sept. 19
Double feature of “Frankenstein” and “The Bride of Frankenstein” – Oct. 24
50th Anniversary edition of “To Kill a Mockingbird” – Nov. 15Each event will begin at 7:00 p.m. local time, with special matinees in select theaters at 2:00 p.m and will feature a specially-produced TCM introduction by film historian, author and TCM host Robert Osborne. Osborne will take audiences behind the scenes for each of these American classics with unique insights into their making.
